I'm always cautious about reacting to a one-sided story posted on FB
and I think the news media tends to put too much of their own political slant on things when they don't have a lot of information. It's always best to get both sides of the story before reacting, or multiple points of view (like the police cameras for the Floyd death).
Chase is a pain so I find it likely that she overreacted here, but I've also witnessed a few public confrontations over masks, standing too close to one another in line, etc. that turned into political spewing and cell phones shoved in each other's face when a shred of common decency and respect would have gone a long way.
